It’s true!   We've all got a gong for the same service!

Ten double-medals have been awarded since the start of WW1 (the time from which the MoD start counting).

‘They’ say that they won’t allow the PJM to be worn because a “long-established” rule prohibits a medal for service more than 5 years ago. Is that true or false?   In our Rebuttal do we say:

It’s true!   A medal has never been allowed for wear for service more than 5 years earlier.

Since the start of WW1 a couple of medals have been awarded for wear for service more than 5 years earlier.

Since the start of WW1 more than 2 medals have been awarded for wear for service more than 5 years earlier, including three in the 1990's

Question 3:

Which wearable medal awarded by the British is only awarded as a double medal for the same service, and can be awarded for service not just more than 5 years ago, but up to 37 years ago, thus cutting across the twin myth used to deny us the right to wear thePJM?

None - It's a long-established British Imperials Honours rule that such medals must not be worn and the British stick to that.
